Another player, V Gupta Furniture House came to India after partition and set its shop here in 1947. The shop is going strong even after sixty-five years said Vijay Gupta, the proprietor. His great grandfather started the furniture house. "We have seen several shops closing down since then but we have grown stronger by the day," said an ecstatic owner.
